North Macedonia’s real net pay rose 7.2% year-on-year in April after rising 4.6% the month before, the Skopje-based National Statistics Office (Makstat) said in a statement. .
In nominal terms, the average net salary rose 10.1% over the year in April, reaching MKD 28,438 (EUR 464.6), the statistical agency said.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms – of 28.6% – was recorded in the arts, entertainment and recreation sector. On a monthly comparison basis, real net pay edged up 0.1% in April.
